Brew Crumberland’s Best was founded on September 2nd, 2014. BCB started as a place for the owner to express her creativity through baking. In time, the focus shifted toward the working-class customer base that emerged. By utilizing the drive-thru, BCB can focus on offering service to the working class, who don’t normally have time to get high quality coffee and pastries on their daily commute. BCB also offers a family-friendly atmosphere that caters to any demographic of in-house customers.

BCB Rossmoyne was founded on April 17th, 2017 as the second addition to the BCB Enterprises family. By implementing a majority of the practices in place at Brew Crumberland’s Best, BCB Rossmoyne continues serving customers at a speed optimized for the enjoyment of the busy working class. BCB Rossmoyne features all the fresh food and locally sourced coffee that Brew Crumberland’s Best offers, in addition to modern, spacious seating for the professionals in the Rossmoyne Business Center.

Laurel Weiser’s passion for baking rose quickly following her graduation from Lower Dauphin High School in 2009. Laurel committed herself to this calling: she first spent time working at a local coffee shop to establish seed money, then gathered up her belongings and moved halfway across the United States to study at the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, Colorado. Less than a year later, she graduated in the top of her class with a degree in the Pastry Arts.

Laurel enjoyed her time in Colorado, but her strong sense of family ultimately saw her return to Central Pennsylvania. Her new degree offered multiple opportunities in the culinary world, and her first choice of employment was as a baker at the Harrisburg Hilton. After a year at the Hilton, she realized something was missing and desired a change of scenery and greater challenges. Seeking both, Laurel accepted a baking position at the Hershey Hotel.

A year of devoted work for the Hershey Hotel passed. While she enjoyed her work, and respected her employer greatly, the same sense of something missing returned. Introspection led to an epiphany: Laurel’s love of her craft came from her creativity, and the baked-in banality of the corporate world would never allow that to flourish. To achieve personal fulfillment through her art, Laurel knew she would have to start her own business.

Who We Are

The doors of Brew Crumberland’s Best opened for the first time on September 2nd, 2014.

Laurel and Wade are now co-owners of BCB and both are pleased with the continued success of their joint efforts.

After graduating from Lower Dauphin High School in 2012, Wade Weiser made business his business when he entered the Business Honors Program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The honors program afforded Wade many unique opportunities to further his knowledge as he pursued a degree in Marketing and Economics.

One such opportunity saw him abroad in India, but on his return his life took a different course. A severe leg injury forced Weiser to medically withdraw from university. With every intention of returning to his studies after recovering from his injury, Wade began helping his sister at her new coffee shop, Brew Crumberland’s Best, in New Cumberland. A passion for all things coffee related quickly developed and the sibling team discovered innate business acumen that made Wade a natural to take some of the burdens of running a successful commercial enterprise off Laurel’s shoulders.

In 2015, Wade officially became the head of all business operations: Laurel could focus entirely on her creativity, while her twenty-one year old brother focused on the development and growth of the family business. Owning his own business was always one of Wade’s dreams, and he remains excited to continue the growth of BCB Enterprises so that their commitment to quality, convenience and community can reach as many people as possible.
